The winners of the Kazan Marathon are determined in the capital of Tatarstan

Stepan Kiselev finished first at a distance of 42.2 km, Sardana Trofimova became the champion of Russia.

(KZN.RU, May 5). Today the Kazan Marathon ended in the capital of Tatarstan. Stepan Kiselev became the absolute winner and champion of Russia in the marathon. He covered the distance of 42.2 km in 12 hours 12.56 minutes.

The silver medals of the marathon and the national championship were won by Andrey Leiman (02:14:10), the top three winners were closed by Yury Chechun (02:15:29).

Sardana Trofimova, a member of the country's national athletics team from Yakutia, became the winner of the Kazan Marathon among women and champion of Russia in marathon running (02:31:31). The second place was taken by Irina Sergeeva (02:31:58). Alina Prokopieva took the bronze medal (02:34:10).

The fastest in the half-marathon 21.1 km among men was Niyaz Sadikov, his result was 01:09:39. Kirill Nedosekov from Yekaterinburg (01:09:45) won the silver medal, and Veniamin Kanybekov from Ufa took the third place (01:10:47).

Denis Kalinkin, the head of the Kazan Executive Committee, was among those who ran the half-marathon distance. He covered 21.1 km in 1 hour and 33 minutes.

The winner of the half marathon was Lyudmila Lebedeva from Yoshkar-Ola (01:12:43). The second place was taken by Ksenia Makhneva from Cheboksary (01:13:03), the third place went to Elena Nagovitsyna from Izhevsk (01:15:49).

Today, a 10 kilometers race was held as well. The first to finish among men was Anton Tingaev from Kazan (30:51). The top three also included Andrey Trofimov from Izhevsk (31:47) and Viktor Samoilov from Samara (31:59). The victory among women was taken by Yuliana Avvakumenkova from St. Petersburg (34:49). The second place went to Yulia Vasilieva from Samara (35:13), the third to Galina Ivanova from Cheboksary (36:10).

The Kazan Marathon started yesterday. On Saturday, the most massive 3 km race took place, in which about 9 thousand people took part, as well as a children's race.
