A kindergarten for 340 children has opened in the Sovetsky district of Kazan

Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, congratulated the students, parents, and teachers on the joyful event.

(KZN.RU, June 7, Alsu Safina). A kindergarten № 135 “Kaleidoscope” has opened in the Sovetsky district of Kazan. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, came to congratulate the children of the kindergarten, parents, and teachers with a large cake and a certificate for the purchase of sports equipment.

Construction of a kindergarten in the residential complex “Art City” on Ershov Street, №62b, was started in March last year under the federal target program “Housing”. The new kindergarten is designed for 340 children. For today, 300 children are enrolled by e-mail, most of them are aged 3-4 years. In total, there will be 17 groups, including 2 groups designed for children under 3 years old. On an opening day, about 100 children came to the “Kaleidoscope”, said Ilnar Khidiyatov, the head of the Department of Education.

Work with children will be conducted in several directions, including artistic and aesthetic. Also, attention will be paid to the study of languages: Russian, Tatar, and English. According to Guzel Sadykova, the head of the kindergarten, it is planned to organize the study of Chinese and Turkish languages in the context of additional education.

Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, visited the new kindergarten, the fine arts classes, where children were drawing a lilac branch, a sports hall where children practiced gymnastics, and also attended an English lesson “Welcome to the Fairyland”. In the form of a game, children learned to sort out the trash, laying out plastic bottles and glasses, paper and glass in different containers. At the same time, they learned new English words. As the head of the city noted, children should be the first to start learning how to separate garbage so that they can then teach parents at home.

In the music hall, Ilsur Metshin congratulated residents of the micro-district on the opening of a kindergarten. “Very soon our children will become accustomed to the kindergarten regime, and their talents will begin to open”, the head of the city noted. “What is the difference between children who go to kindergarten? They are freer to show their talents: they dance, play sports. Very soon, those children who have just come to this kindergarten will start to please their parents with the way they learn to write, draw, and dance. The most important thing is that they are healthy and happy with their successes”.

The Mayor of Kazan thanked Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, for the care of the children, as well as the builders who built this kindergarten. He wished the kindergarten staff success in their work.

Guzel Sadykova, the head of the kindergarten, expressed gratitude to the Government of the RT and the Mayor of Kazan for the great attention to the education system.

A large cake was given to children and parents as a gift to the opening of the kindergarten. In addition, the Mayor of Kazan presented the head of the kindergarten with a certificate for the purchase of sports equipment.

Now the preschool education program is implemented in 320 organizations. They are visited by more than 69 thousand children. In the new 2018-2019 school year, the city's educational institutions will receive 17519 children.

According to information at the beginning of June, 14799 children were sent to the kindergartens through the electronic system, including 13650 children aged 3 years and over, and 1149 children aged 2 to 3 years. All 3-year-old children are offered places in preschool educational institutions of the city.

Soon two more preschool institutions will be opened in Kazan: in the RC “Vesna” for 340 children and in the RC “Stantsiya “Sportivnaya” for 220 children.
