<p> The overhaul of four camps will be completed in Kazan this year under the republican program: Zarechye, Vostok, Unitur and Molodezhny. For this purpose, 700 million rubles were allocated from the republican budget. This will allow to bring children's leisure to a new level, Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin said today at the headquarters for combating the spread of coronavirus infection. </p> <p> “We have made great efforts to preserve the network of chidren’s municipal camps, and now, thanks to the support of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, we can bring them back to life, - I.Metshin said. – Previously, we were able to carry out repair works, but these were crumbs compared to what we see today in the renovated camps. This is a completely different level of comfort and leisure for our children”. </p> <p> The Molodezhny camp is already ready to invite schoolchildren this summer, said the Chairman of the Committee for children and youth Affairs, Airat Fayizov. Also, work in the other camps, which were included in the first stage of the republican program of overhaul, renovation and construction of camps “Summer for children”, is almost completed. </p> <p> A large-scale renovation was carried out at the Vostok camp, designed for 200 children. The camp was actually rebuilt in accordance with modern requirements. Seven buildings, an office, a medical center, a club and a canteen were built. </p> <p> The main part of the planned works has also been completed at the Unitur tourist camp: 11 new houses, showers, toilets, a medical center have been built, and the construction of a canteen is underway. In the near future, it is planned to install a rope park and sports grounds. </p> <p> The funds have been allocated for the project of overhaul and renovation of four more municipal camps in 2020: Molodaya Gvardia, Ogonyok, Pioneers of Tatarstan and Narmonka. </p>
