A schoolgirl from Kazan has achieved an impressive result of 300 points on the Unified State Exam in three subjects

This year, 324 graduates have achieved the highest exam results in the republic

In Tatarstan, 324 graduates passed a unified state exam for maximum scores: 302 students received 100 points in one subject, while 20 students achieved a perfect score in two subjects, and two additional eleventh-grade students achieved a maximum score in three subjects for the first time in three years. Additionally, 18 graduates from previous years achieved the highest grades. These results were announced by the Tatarstan Minister of Education and Science, Ilsur Khadiullin, at a briefing at the Cabinet of Ministers.

The main period for taking the Unified State Exam (USE) and the state final exams this year lasted from May 23 to June 21. During this time, 15,842 school students tested their knowledge. Of these, 14,620 graduated in 2024. A supplementary period for state final certification is scheduled for September 4- 23.

Ilsur Khadiullin noted that the average grades in all subjects in the republic were higher than the national average. Graduates achieved high marks in English and literature, however low marks in geography, history, and biology.

At the same time, the results of graduates on the Unified State Exam improved in most subjects compared to last year in Tatarstan. In specialized mathematics, there was an increase of 7.19 points, in literature 5.41 points, in physics 9.52 points, and in biology 3.49 points. However, in three subjects, there were decreases: the average score in the Russian language decreased by 4.27 points, in social studies - a decrease of 0.75 points, and in computer science 1.69 points.

The main feature of the 2024 exam campaign is that students have the opportunity to retake the exam in a specific subject during an additional period on July 4-5. According to Ilsur Khadiullin, 1,832 students took advantage of this opportunity to improve their results, and the average grade on retakes in most subjects increased.

At the same time, the number of schoolchildren in the republic who did not score minimum points in Russian and mathematics has increased compared to 2023 – 53 children will retake the exams in the additional period.

In Tatarstan, 20 students scored maximum points in two subjects, among them graduates of ten schools in Kazan. The students received the highest marks in the following subjects: specialized mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer science, Russian language, literature, English.

Two graduates scored 300 points in three subjects, including one from Kazan. Polina Romanenko, a student of school № 18, achieved maximum results on the Unified State Exam in Russian language, literature and history.

The proportion of graduates awarded the gold medal for special achievements remained the same as in previous years, with 1,785 recipients receiving the award in 2024. Additionally, 1,433 graduates were awarded the second-degree medal for special teaching achievements in 2024.

The silver medal is awarded to graduates with final grades of excellent grades, as well as those who achieve at least 60 points in the unified state exam for the Russian language and a subject of their choice. This was explained by the Tatarstan Minister of Education and Science.

This year, 3,218 graduates received a certificate with honors and a medal based on their academic performance. 116 students did not qualify for the award, while last year this number was 208 students.

Ninth-grade students took four mandatory exams: Russian language, mathematics, and two additional subjects. Students with special needs were only required to take Russian language and mathematics.

43,809 students tested their knowledge, including nearly 1,000 students with disabilities.
