Kazan school students were included in the top ten mathematicians of Eurasia

Final of the GS Group International Math competition “I do sum!” was held in Gusev.

Three Kazan school students - Nikita Kolesnikov, Vladislav Khramov and Danil Sibgatullin - won the GS Group International Math competition “I do sum!”. 40 students from Russia, Uzbekistan and Ukraine competed in the final of the competition, which was held in Gusev, Kaliningrad region.

In total, 5 thousand 311 people from all 85 regions of Russia and 20 other countries took part in the competition. The winners were 10 school students. Besides the Kazan students, there was a schoolboy from Naberezhnye Chelny, Yuri Potapov.

All 10 winners received valuable prizes: eleventh-graders have been awarded with scholarships for the first year of study at the University in a technical specialty. And students of 9 and 10 grades will get an opportunity to enter directly one of the best schools in the country – the presidential physics and mathematics lyceum №239 in St. Petersburg.

In addition, for the first time in the contest “I do sum!” the best teacher was awarded, whose student scored the highest number of points in the final. This is a Kazan teacher from lyceum №131 Vadim Shurygin, the press service of the Ministry of education and science of the Republic of Tatarstan reports.
