(KZN.RU, June 14). Kazan entered the top 3 most popular cities among Russian tourists during the FIFA World Cup-2018 matches. The capital of Tatarstan is only behind Moscow and St. Petersburg.
The rating is compiled by the tourist service Tvil.ru based on apartment booking from June 14 to July 15. According to the service, private housing in Kazan cost the tourists in June-July less than 3500 rubles per person, in St. Petersburg – less than 4000 rubles, and in Moscow – less than 4500 rubles.
In addition to the three Russian capitals, Sochi and Yekaterinburg are included in the 5 most popular cities for the World Cup-2018.
The World Cup will be held from June 14 to July 15 in 11 Russian cities. Kazan will host matches of the group stage of the World Cup-2018: France – Australia (June 16), Iran – Spain (June 20), Poland – Colombia (June 24), South Korea – Germany (June 27). Also, there will be one match of the 1/8 of finals (June 30) and the 1/4 of finals (July 6) in the capital of Tatarstan.
