The farewell match of three-time world champion and five-time Gagarin Cup winner Danis Zaripov will take place at the Tatneft Arena on August 9.

The former partners and coaches of the player with whom he won the main trophies of his career will take part in the match. In particular, Alexey Morozov, Sergey Zinoviev, Alexander Radulov, Alexander Ovechkin, Pavel Datsyuk, Ilya Kovalchuk, Yevgeny Kuznetsov, Alexander Syomin, Yevgeny Medvedev, Alexey Chupin, Vadim Yepanchintsev, Kirill Petrov, Artyom Lukoyanov, Alexander Burmistrov, Zinetula Bilyaletdinov, Ilya Vorobyev and others will take to the ice.

Before the opening of the match, a ceremony honoring Danis Zaripov will take place with the participation of the leaders of Russian and republican hockey. His personal banner will rise under the arches of the ice arena, and HC Ak Bars will withdraw No. 25 for the first time in its history – the number will become unavailable to players in the entire club system.

The match will start at 19:00. Season ticket holders can attend the game for free.
