More than 5 thousand tons of snow were removed from Kazan streets per day

<p> (KZN.RU, January 17). 5199 tons of snow were removed from Kazan streets over the past day. In total, 676 road workers and 576 units of special equipment were involved in work on the streets. 97 combined road machines, 68 CRM “Boschung”, 15 snow loaders, 124 brush tractors, 30 graders, 67 wheel loaders, 46 MKSM “Barsik”, 113 dump trucks, and others were among them. </p> <p> </p> <p> 182 tons of anti-icing treatment were used on the roads of the Tatarstan’s capital for the day, including 13 tons of reagent and 169 tons of sand-salt mixture. </p> <p> </p> <p> According to the districts’ administrations, 601 road workers will go to the streets of Kazan for snow removal and 300 units of special equipment will be used today. </p> <p> </p> <p> In total, more than 262.5 thousand tons of snow were removed from the streets of the city since the beginning of the winter period, reports the Committee for External Improvement. </p>
