16 thousand self-employed people are registered in Kazan

In total, more than 60 thousand entrepreneurs have joined the new tax regime in Tatarstan.

More than 60 thousand residents of Tatarstan have been registered as self – employed, including 16 thousand people in Kazan. Today, the volume of tax revenues from the self-employed amounted to about 88.6 million rubles. At the same time, 80% of the total number of registered people were not officially employed and did not pay taxes.

According to the Ministry of economy, 54554 Tatarstan citizens and approx. 6 thousand residents of other regions became self-employed in the Republic. The number of self -employed in the Republic: 16 thousand people in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny – about 8 thousand, Nizhnekamsk district – 2.9 thousand, Almetyevsk district – 2.7 thousand, Zelenodolsk district – 2.1 thousand.

In total, more than 314 thousand self-employed entrepreneurs are registered in Russia. Tatarstan became one of the four pilot regions where a new tax regime was implemented in January 2019. In 2019, the self-employed of Tatarstan received a number of preferences and benefits, in particular, access to the bp.zakaz.rf platform and government contracts, as well as free participation in fairs.
