Sabantuy in Kazan will be held on June 23 this year

<p> (KZN.RU, March 22). Tatar national holiday Sabantuy will be held in Kazan on June 23. Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, signed the corresponding decree. </p> <p> Sabantuy will be held in rural areas, regional centers of the RT on June 8-9, in Naberezhnye Chelny and Nizhnekamsk on June 16. </p> <p> Last year, about 218 thousand people attended events in honor of the Sabantuy holiday in Kazan. The celebrations were held at several sites: in the Berezovaya Roscha in Mirny Settlement and the forest at the Svetloye Lebyazhye Lake, as well as at the Kazan Hippodrome, where horse racing took place. </p>
