An operetta by Johann Strauss, featuring live musical accompaniment and a mapping show, will be presented for the audience
On August 28, the balconies of the Kazan Mayor’s Office will again become the stage for the annual musical and theatrical performance “Voices of Kazan”. This year, the project beloved by citizens will be presented in a completely new format: instead of the usual poems and songs, the audience will enjoy a full-fledged theatrical show with live accompaniment from the orchestra of the Kamal Tatar State Academic Theater conducted by Daniyar Sokolov. This became known at a press conference at the Tatar-inform news agency.
This show is based on the famous operetta by Johann Strauss “The Bat”. The performance will be accompanied by a specially created mapping show and music.
For the first time, the orchestra become a full participant in the performance, which the organizers say will provide a unique experience for the audience. Leading artists from Tatarstan will be involved in the production. Honored Artists Iskander Nurizyanov, Rishat Akhmadullin, and Dinar Khusnutdinov, as well as Bulat Gataullin, Marina Yaselskaya, and Alsu Sungatova will perform poems in Tatar and Russian.
The main roles will be played by Ilya Slavutsky and Iskander Khairullin, People's Artists of Tatarstan, and Honored Artist Alsu Gustova.
