Master classes will be held within the framework of the All-Russian Festival of Decorative and Applied Arts “By Hands of a Woman”.
(KZN.RU, September 7). On September 29 and 30, Kazan will host the All-Russian Festival of Decorative and Applied Arts “By Hands of a Woman”. 85 arts and crafts masters from different regions of the country will take part in the event.
Residents of Kazan will be able to visit the master classes on Tula damascening, Kaitag embroidery, embroidery on silk with the creation of Turkmen ornaments for free. In addition, the master classes will teach how to draw a picture in the technique of plasticine, make dolls-amulet Dolya and Podorozhnitsa, amber jewelry, a flower-brooch in the lacework technique, and clay whistles. Participants in the master classes will be able to learn the basics of bead weaving on the machine, create crafts in the Oshiban technique, work on electric spinning wheels and much more, said the organizers.
The festival will be held in the GTRK “Korston”. The beginning of the events is at 10 am.
The Foundation for Support of Cultural Initiatives “ZurArt” is the organizer of the project “By Hands of a Woman”. The festival is held with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the RT.
