Residents of Warsaw are interested in tourism in Kazan

The exhibition “Welcome to Kazan!” takes place in the center of the Polish capital.

(KZN.RU, September 7). The exhibition “Welcome to Kazan!” opened on the site of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Warsaw. Tourist attractions of the capital of Tatarstan are presented on posters in the heart of the Polish capital in a prestigious diplomatic area. The exhibition is held with the support of the Kazan City Hall and the Committee for Tourism Development.

Kazan is already familiar to the Poles. The Polish team held a match in Kazan during the FIFA World Cup-2018, thanks to which several thousand tourists from this country came to the city. The organizers of the exhibition hope that interest in Tatarstan and Kazan will only grow. “We are trying to use all opportunities to attract foreign tourists and strive to show Kazan as a multicultural city”, said Evgeniya Lodvigova, the first deputy head of the Kazan Municipality. “We wholeheartedly invite Polish tourists to Kazan, you will like it very much!”.

Igor Zhukovsky, the head of the Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Poland, said that the exhibition is popular with local residents. “Within the framework of the representation of Russian regions, we are trying to show the most diverse corners of our beautiful country to the Polish public. We held several successful projects with Kazan in Poland: “Days of Tatar cuisine in Warsaw”, the presentation of the host city of the World Cup. We open an exhibition with the main tourist attractions of Kazan in our open area on the Royal Route in Warsaw. Now we see how passers-by stop and look at the posters”, he said.

Sights of Tatarstan and Kazan will be presented in the capital of Poland from September to the end of December 2018, said the organizers.
