Residents of Golubyatnikov Street to Ilsur Metshin: “Our yard is all new! This is a fairy tale, not a yard!”

The Mayor of Kazan congratulated residents of houses №30 on Golubyatnikov Street and №69/1, 69/2, 71 on Musin Street on the opening of a yard.

(KZN.RU, August 30, Alina Berezhnaya). The comprehensive improvement of one of the yards in the Novo-Savinovsky district of Kazan was completed. A children's and multi-functional sports ground on the territory near houses №30 on Golubyatnikov Street and №69/1, 69/2, 71 on Musin Street appeared, asphalt concrete pavement was updated, trees were planted. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, arrived to congratulate the residents on the completion of work.

Houses in the neighborhood were built in 1984-1989. More than 2.2 thousand people live here, 210 of them are of preschool age. The repair and landscaping of the yard became a long-awaited event for residents. This summer, swings and sandboxes were installed in the yard, asphalt paths were paved, trees were planted, a universal football and basketball field with a rubber coating was set. In addition, a container site for the selective collection of municipal solid waste was built there, the entrances of houses were repaired. “We cannot recognize our yard! This is a gift”, Kazan citizens addressed Ilsur Metshin.

The residents organized a celebration of the yard. They played music there, local gardeners organized an exhibition and sale of the grown crop, and the housewives prepared treats for guests.

According to residents of nearby houses, their yard was supposed to be part of the yard's major overhaul program in the future, but they decided not to wait. At the meeting, the residents decided to improve the yard, partially taking the costs for themselves. In this case, the repair of the yard takes place out of the line. The district administration and management company supported this idea. The management company at the expense of attracted funds and partly due to the republican overhaul program, landscaped the yard territory. “The owners of the apartments in these houses gathered and decided that they agreed to increase the fee for maintaining the yard on invoices. In turn, they received a yard repaired out of line”, said Timur Alibaev, the head of the administration of the Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinovsky districts of Kazan.

The head of the city walked through the renewed territory and talked with the residents. “This is a fairy tale, not a yard, children can walk near their homes. All the work was done quickly and qualitatively”, said Fedor Lavrentyev, a resident of house №71 on Musin Street.

The Mayor of Kazan also appreciated the activity of the citizens. He congratulated the residents of the houses on the opening of the yard and the upcoming City Day and Republic Day. “I know that very active Kazan residents live in this yard, thank you for taking such an active part in improving and caring for your neighborhood”, I. Metshin addressed the residents of the Novo-Savinovsky district. He added that many social facilities will appear in Kazan to City Day and Republic Day. “We are opening 11 kindergartens, two large new schools, we overhauled many yards, social institutions. All this improves people's lives, we strive to make Kazan the most comfortable city”, said Ilsur Metshin.

The festival was also attended by Timur Alibaev, the head of the administration of the Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinovsky districts of Kazan, Marat Nuriev, the general director of the Management Company “Uyutny Dom”.
