Renat Kashapov has become the absolute winner at a distance of 10 km among men, Anna Dvoryanskaya among women.
The traditional Night Kazan race took place on the night of July 16 and brought together more than 2,500 sports fans from all over the country, its route was along the most picturesque places of the city with night illumination – the Kremlin Embankment, the Kremlin, the Palace of Farmers, as well as the Kazan Family Center.
The absolute winner at a distance of 10 kilometers among men was Renat Kashapov. He ran the distance in 31 minutes and 16 seconds. Kirill Dyatlov took the second place, Mikhail Kuleshov took the third. Anna Dvoryanskaya became the winner among women – 38 minutes and 59 seconds. Sirena Kabirova took the second place, Anastasia Norkina won the bronze.
Sergey Semyonov and Natalia Makarova won at a distance of 5 km.
Several more competitions were held as part of the Night Kazan race. 250 young athletes took part in the Timerkids races for 300 and 600 meters. They were accompanied by Alexey Smertin, ex-captain of the Russian national football team, who supported the visually impaired participant. In addition, as part of the sports festival, an orienteering competition was held, in which children and adults took part.
The winners and prize-winners of the competitions were awarded with medals and gifts from the organizers, the Timerman’s Press Office reports.
