During summer over 30 thousand children will go to Kazan camps

Specific attention in the places of rest is paid to the safety issues: more than 50 inspections have been conducted from the beginning of the summer.

Today in Kazan the plan of vacation and recreation for children accounts for 88%, up to the end of the summer additionally 3,5 thousand children will go to Kazan camps. Today Airat Faizov, the chairman of the Committee on Children and Youth Affairs, told about it at the Business Monday.

Specific attention in the organisation of summer holiday is paid to safety, as А. Faizov noted. So, in all camps there is a protection, the video surveillance cameras are installed along the perimeter territories, and all places are equipped by automatic fire warning. “All camps have the permissions by the Gospozhnadzor and the Rospotrebnadzor's sanitary epidemiological permissions. At present in camps the scheduled inspections are being conducted by Rospotrebnadzor Control of the RT, Ministry of Emergency Measures, and the National Guard of the Russian Federation“, - А.Faizov noted. Totally more than 50 inspections have been conducted from the beginning of the summer.

As for camp staffing, all the employees have to produce a certificate of criminal record, as well as are trained on fire-technical minimum.

Along with camp staffing, extensive knowledge of safety and guidelines for safe behaviour are learned by all children. Twice during the shift the trainings for evacuation emergency of children and employees are held in all camps, as А.Faizov told.

As well the monitoring of the nutritional status of children is conducted in all camps. “All menu is developed specially for children's camp and is in compliance with the standards of Rospotrebnadzor, besides it is forbidden for the parents to give meat products, milk production, pies, carbonated beverages, chips, fast food, berries to the children”,- А.Faizov noted.

In total for the summer 30 thousand 265 children will take the rest in the camps, including 14,5 thousand childrev will have a good time in country camps. For them the spesific shifts are prepared in all places of rest, among which are sports, linguistic, historical places, as well as team-skills, related to the upcoming World Championship WorldSkills in Kazan.

Evgenia Lodvigova, the first deputy head of the Kazan Municipality, noted that the specific attention in the places of rest must be paid to the safety issues. “About 3 thousand children are waiting for their shifts, and each of them should receive the positive emotions. And our task is to meet children's expectations of the best rest. Safety issues are in priority. Safety assurance cannot be followed only by instructions. Picking up interesting activities for children in the camp, it is important to educate mindfulness and responsibility in children. These lessons will be useful for them not only during their holiday“, - Е.Lodvigova concluded.
