A young Kazan citizen became the “Hero of Our Time”

The Republican Prize winner Pavel Mukhin is the first Russian world champion in break-dance.

(KZN.RU, December 6). A young Kazan citizen Pavel Mukhin became the winner of the Republican Prize “Heroes of Our Time”. This year the awards were presented to 13 Tatarstan citizens.

Pavel Mukhin won the Best Powermove nomination. He became the first Russian world break-dance champion at the Red Bull BC One. The laureates of the award received the badge “Heroes of Our Time”, a diploma, a hero's star and souvenirs, reports the press service of the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the RT.

The award also gave a start to a mobile photo exhibition “Alley of Heroes of Our Time” where the winners and stories about their exploits are presented. In the future, it will move around the republic so that everyone knows about the feats of compatriots.

The Republican Prize “Heroes of Our Time” is aimed at attracting public attention to the residents of Tatarstan who committed heroic acts in everyday life. The main goal of the project is to show young people as many positive examples as possible.

The project “Heroes of Our Time” has been operating in the RT since 2013. The first Republican Prize was held in December 2016. The organizer is the Young Guard of the RT with the support of the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the RT, the Ministry of Culture of the RT, the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts’ administration of Kazan, and the “United Russia”.
