You can observe the life of a colorful Kazan from the very heart of the city, the Kazan Kremlin. The Preobrazhenskaya Tower, one of the most powerful and impressive in the ancient fortress, is located near the mosque of Kul Sharif. It was built by Pskov architects at the end of the 16th century. It is easy to recognize on the top with the image of Zilant, the coat of arms of Kazan. The height of the lift is relatively small: just several flights of stairs and you are at the top. The four windows open unusual panoramic views of the fortress itself, and the Millennium Square with a “flying saucer” of the Circus, “Pyramid”, and the Central Stadium.

It is open every day from 10 am to 5 pm.

The sightseeing platform behind the Annunciation Cathedral of the Kazan Kremlin

There is another sightseeing platform in the Kazan Kremlin. Its main advantage is that it can be visited completely free of charge. Since the Kremlin is located above many other sights of the city, you can see the Kremlin embankment, the Palace of Culturologist with Renaissance houses, and even the opposite bank of Kazanka River with new heights and the stadium “Kazan Arena”.

The Kazan Kremlin is open 24 hours a day.

The entrance to the observation deck is free.

The sightseeing platform on the bell tower of the Epiphany Cathedral on Bauman Street

More than 150 steps and 70 meters must be overcome in order to enjoy views of Bauman Street, the Peter and Paul Cathedral, the Tukay Square, the KFU building, the Kaban Lake embankment that opens from the bell tower of the Epiphany Cathedral. There are no steep staircases and narrow passages, you can easily walk up. The belfry was built in 1897 at the expense of the merchant Ivan Krivonosov.

The sightseeing platform is open daily from 10 am to 9 pm, a lunch-break from 12 pm to 1 pm.

Price: adults – 100 rubles, children from 12 to 18 – 50 rubles, children under 12 years – free of charge.

The sightseeing platform of the Grand Hotel Kazan

This is not the tallest building in the city. But due to its favorable location right in the center of Kazan, it has beautiful views of the always lively Tukay Square and Bauman Street, the elegant Staro-Tatarskaya Sloboda and the Kaban Lake. What a sunset you can watch there!

Ferris wheel “Around the World” in “Riviera”

Each of the 36 booths of the Ferris wheel is dedicated to one of the cities in the world. It conveys the atmosphere of famous capitals such as Paris, London, Rome, Athens, Moscow with its design and music accompaniment. Thus, a small virtual trip to this or that country can be combined with admiring the beauties of the 1000-year-old capital of Tatarstan. You can see the Kazan Kremlin, the embankment, the Millennium Bridge and modern blocks of the city with high-rise buildings from a height of 65 meters. You can arrange a romantic date or a children's birthday there.

You can also see the Kazan Kremlin a little closer from one more Ferris wheel. It is located in the park “Kyrlay” across the street from the new furnished promenade on the Dekabristov Street.

In July, a ride on the wheel “Around the World” is available daily from 9 am to 12 am.

In August, the sightseeing platform of the Family Center “Kazan” will resume its work. Usually, it starts to receive the first visitors at the end of spring, but this year its opening was postponed due to the World Cup. One of the most beautiful panoramas to the historical center of the city with the snow-white Kazan Kremlin, the embankment, and always busy highways opens from 32 meters of this unique architectural construction.

In addition, another sightseeing platform should be created at the NCC “Kazan” in a short time. The opposite bank of Kazanka River with the Millennium Bridge will be well seen from it.
