For the first time, two cadet classes of the Russian Investigative Committee were opened in Kazan

The ceremony of matriculation of schoolchildren into cadets was held at the City Hall and was attended by Ilsur Metshin, Leila Fazleeva and Valery Lipsky.

Today, 59 tenth-graders of schools No.140 and No.169 of the Sovetsky district have been turned up for cadets of the Russian Investigative Committee at the Kazan City Hall. These are the first cadet classes of the Committee in Tatarstan and its capital. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Leila Fazleeva and the head of the Investigative Department Valery Lipsky attended the ceremony.

To date, 27 cadet classes have been functioning in Kazan schools, their number is increasing every year, Ilsur Metshin noted in his speech. “I am very glad that you choose serving your country from a young age, - he addressed the children. -We hope that you will grow up to be real defenders of the Homeland.”

In cadet classes, children will study history, law and social studies in depth. In extracurricular activities, it is planned to hold drill training, training camps and others.

After the ceremony, the students took the oath of cadets of the Russian Invetsigative Committee. After that, V. Lipsky handed over the banner of the cadet classes to the leaders.

In total, in addition to the two classes that have opened, 27 cadet classes have been created in Kazan, in which 604 students are studying – 396 boys and 208 girls. Of these, four classes of police cadets, six classes of naval cadets, eleven classes of airborne cadets, six classes of combined-arms cadets.
