Vladimir Putin: “We are proud of Kazan and its progress”

The Russian President said this during a meeting with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev

Russia is proud of Kazan and its development. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting with the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

“I know that you have visited Kazan. We are proud of that wonderful city and its progress. I hope you will share your impressions with us.”- the Kremlin's official website quotes the Russian leader.

The President added that Tatarstan has a lot to offer partners.

The day before, Shavkat Mirziyoyev paid an official visit to Kazan for the first time. During his visit, the leader of Uzbekistan visited the exhibition of Tatarstan's industrial potential at the Kazan-Expo, got acquainted with the results of the Russia – Uzbekistan Forum of Regions, and also inspected religious sites at the Kazan Kremlin.
