A virtual tour of Kazan was presented to the Vice-Mayor of Yiwu

The leadership and tour operators of the Chinese city were presented with the tourist potential of the capital of the RT.

(KZN.RU, September 21, Regina Nurulina). The virtual tour of Kazan was held today to the Vice-Mayor of Yiwu Li Junfu. The meeting was held within the framework of the visit of the delegation of the capital of Tatarstan to the cities of China, headed by Daria Sannikova, the director of the Committee for Tourism Promotion.

The city of Yiwu is located in Zhejiang Province, 100 km from Hangzhou. It is the center of world trade and one of the main trading platforms for foreign organizations. Li Junfu, the vice-mayor of Yiwu, compared the two cities in his greeting.”Yiwu, like Kazan, is an ancient and modern city with a history of more than 2 thousand years. At the same time, Yiwu is an innovative city, which has established trade links with more than 200 countries of the world”. Daria Sannikova thanked the Vice-Mayor for the warm welcome, noting that this is a very modern, but at the same time green city, with smiling and hospitable residents.

The meeting was also attended by Yiwu tourism operators engaged in international tourism. Some companies do not work in the direction of organizing tours to Russia, but would like to begin. The Director the Committee for Tourism Promotion of Kazan presented them the tourist potential of the city, told about the infrastructure, cultural, and sports life, the variety of excursions, as well as the readiness of the capital of Tatarstan to meet guests from China.

Interested tour operators were invited to Kazan. Daria Sannikova noted that they can unite with a group of representatives of tourist business in Shanghai and Hangzhou, who also expressed a desire to visit the capital of Tatarstan. The possibility of organizing such a tour was discussed earlier at the meetings during the visit of the delegation. This would be an excellent occasion for the beginning of cooperation in tourism between Yiwu and the capital of Tatarstan, believes D. Sannikova.

At the end of the presentation, the Vice-Mayor of Yiwu was offered to visually get acquainted with the capital of Tatarstan. With the help of virtual reality technology, a short tour around the city was conducted for him. Li Junfu noted the beauty of the city. “After today's presentation, many of our tour operators will be interested in your projects and, of course, in visiting your city. After that, they will be able to compose an idea about it and offer their clients”, he marked. In addition, it was offered to provide information about Kazan on the information resources of Yiwu to increase the awareness of local residents about the city.
