Ville Haapasalo in Kazan tried on the image of Tom Sawyer

The actor helped the volunteers to upgrade the house №12 on Kalinin Street.

(KZN.RU, June 27). Finnish-Russian actor and director Ville Haapasalo took part in the Tom Sawyer Fest in Kazan. He helped the volunteers to upgrade the house №12 om Kalinin Street.

Ville Haapasalo painted the frame on the second floor of the house, which the project volunteers restore. “I lived in the village, and I respect hand labor. It’s easy, and you feel like you are doing something beautiful”, the festival activists quoted the actor on social networks.

He supports “Tom Sawyer Fest” not for the first time. 4 years ago, he painted the house in Samara, the city-founder of the festival.

Ville Haapasalo is shooting a series of programs on the tourism potential of the republic and fishing in Tatarstan and its capital. The artist will show the European viewers the Kremlin, the old mosque of Al-Mardzhani, the museum of chak-chak, one of the city baths, and also tell how to bake the Tatar national pie “belesh”.
