Tourist potential of Kazan is presented in Warsaw

The delegation of the capital of the RT takes part in the international exhibition World Travel Show.

(KZN.RU, October 19). Tourist potential of Kazan will be presented today at the World Travel Show exhibition, which runs from 19 to 21 of October at the International Exhibition and Convention Center “Ptak Warshaw Expo” in Warsaw (Poland).

The exhibition also included business meetings. Daria Sannikova, the director of the Tourism Promotion Committee of Kazan, took part in it. At the meetings, issues important for the tourism sector of the capital of Tatarstan were discussed with the leadership of the Alumni Association of Russian Universities of Poland, representatives of Polish business, and public circles.

“Kazan is a beautiful city, which is not so well known as a tourist destination in Poland. I believe that this can and should be changed. The potential of the beautiful city on the Volga should be used. Our meeting today is the first step towards this”, said Jerzy Smolinski, the chairman of the Poland-Russia Society.

Other participants of the meeting also spoke about the disclosure of the tourist potential of the city. Thus, Adam Zaborovski, the chairman of the Association of Graduates of Soviet and Russian Universities, highly appreciated the level of Kazan’s preparation for the World Cup. “I was in Kazan at the match of the Polish team during the World Cup-2018. It was an excellent organization of the event, I really enjoyed it. I consider it important to strengthen the presence of Kazan in the information space of Poland. There are great opportunities in the tourist market for you”, he marked. During the World Cup, the capital of Tatarstan received several thousand tourists from this country.

“This year we have jointly implemented several successful projects on the presentation of the tourist potential of Kazan. We are confident that Polish tourists will be happy to visit the third capital of Russia and will definitely come back again”, concluded Igor Zhukovsky, the head of the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Poland.

In September, the exhibition “Welcome to Kazan!” opened in Warsaw at the site of the Russian Center for Science and Culture. Until December of this year, tourist attractions of the capital of Tatarstan will be presented on posters in the very center of the Polish capital, in a prestigious diplomatic district. The exhibition is supported by the Kazan City Hall and the Tourism Promotion Committee.
