A fire prevention regime starts in Tatarstan

Four sites have been defined for launching pyrotechnic products in Kazan.

(KZN.RU, December 19). From December 20, a special fire protection regime is introduced in the RT, according to which pyrotechnic products are prohibited in certain territories.

Special sites have been defined for launching fireworks on New Year's holidays In Kazan:

in the Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinovsky districts – the floodplain site of the Kazanka River (intersection of streets Chuikov and Gavrilov);

the embankment of the Kirovskaya dam;

in the Privolzhsky district – the parking lot opposite the site "Sabantuy" in the Berezovaya Roscha;

in the Sovetsky district – at the intersection of streets Zhiganov and Akhtyamov (behind the Kazan Hippodrome).

Ambulance and firefighters will be on duty at the organized sites.

The introduction of a special fire protection regime is due to the fact that fire accidents are becoming more frequent on New Year’s holidays. The most common cause of a fire in the December-January holidays is careless handling of fire. During the regime, pyrotechnics cannot be used within 500 meters from the borders of industrial facilities, transport infrastructure (except for roads), the fuel and energy complex (including linear), as well as up to 50 meters from the borders of housing and communal services, agriculture, objects with a massive stay of people, and highways.

The special fire regime will last until January 9.
