The first vaccines will arrive in the republic by the end of August.
In autumn, Tatarstan plans to vaccinate from the flu all those who are at risk. This was announced today at a press conference at the IA “Tatar-inform” by Lyubov Avdonina, Deputy head of the Tatarstan department of Russian Agency for health and consumer rights.
Presently, the plan of preventive vaccination against flu has been adjusted, according to which all Tatarstan residents being at risk groups should be vaccinated. Vaccination is planned to cover 60% of the population of Tatarstan – 2 million 341 thousand 733 people, of which 607 thousand 95 people are children.
The first batch of the vaccine is expected to arrive in the republic by August 31.
By the way, vaccine against coronavirus, which was developed in Russia, will not be used for vaccination in the near future. L.Avdonina explained that information on all vaccinations in Russia affirmed in Federal law and in the order of the Ministry of Health on national vaccination schedule. Today, there are no regulatory documents on including the coronavirus vaccine in this list in the country.
