In Tatarstan life expectancy will be 79 years by 2024

Till 2021 the republic will receive about 7 bn roubles for the national project “Public health”.

(KZN.RU, July 30, Alina Berezhnaya). The main tasks of national projects “Public health” and “Demography” is increasing of life expectancy, reducing mortality among the population. In Tatarstan the life expectancy will be 79 years by 2024. Today, Marat Sadykov, the minister of Healthcare of the RT, declared about it at the briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers.

“Till 2021 Tatarstan will receive about 7 bn roubles for the national project “Public health”, 72% of the financing will come from the federal budget” -, М. Sadykov told.

According to М.Sadykov, much has already been done for improving material and technical resources of medical institutions in the republic. In particular, for 6 years 461 medical assistant and obstetric clinics and 23 medical ambulance stations have been reconstructed, 1466 medical assistant and obstetric clinics, 95 medical ambulance stations and 18 district hospitals have been repaired in the agricultural regions of Tatarstan. In 2019, additionally 45 medical assistant and obstetric clinics and 10 medical ambulance stations is scheduled for construction. The minister of Healthcare of the RT reminded as well that in 2018 a two-year maintenance program of health centers has been finished in the republic - 185 public health objects have been entirely repaired in Tatarstan, all of them are equipped by the modern medical equipment.

Marat Sadykov informed as well that updating of the medical emergency services and air ambulance has been started in the republic. An integrated regional system of dispatching system of the medical emergency service has been already created. Till 2024 an increasing number of air ambulance departures, as well as purchasing of two helicopters are in the action plans.

The national project aims to include all citizens with preventive medical tests which can help to highlight the serious health problems at an early stage, as М.Sadykov noted and reminded that since this year the order of health assessment has been changed. Now citizens between the ages of 18 and 39 years have to undergo a medical examination once in three years, older than 45 years people would be offered a medical check-up each year. “Each person should undergo a medical examination at least once a year. We understand that it is a serious task, therefore medical check-ups should not be formally“, - М. Sadykov declared.

Speaking of the reasons of mortality among the population, the cardiovascular diseases are one of the main causes of death. In 2019, the mortality target of cardiovascular diseases can reach up to 600 people per 100 thousand inhabitants. In 2024, the death rates might come down up to 450 people per 100 thousand inhabitants. To that end the activities for increasing of the number of medical establishments are scheduled in the republic. In particular, in 2020, in Kazan it is planned to construct two primary centers of cardiovascular surgery.

As well in the republic a great attention is paid to the cancer control strategy. By 2024 the main tasks of the national project are to reduce deaths from cancer, including from 185 malignant cases per 100 thousand inhabitants. In Tatarstan 9 centres of ambulatory oncological assistance are planned to construct for the complex diagnostics of malignant neoplasms. By 2020, the department of republic oncological clinic will be built in Naberezhnye Chelny, and the construction of the Centre of children's oncology, hematology and surgery will start on the base of the Republican Children's Clinical Hospital. “In the republic oncology has been identified in 8 thousand 273 children. The centre will take surgeries not only children, but also inhabitants from other regions“, - М.Sadykov told. Besides the vision of multidisciplinary children's hospital construction is being considered in Kirovsky district of Kazan. As well in Kazan neurologic centre will be constructed at the city hospital №7.
