The heating season might start ahead of schedule in the social institutions of Kazan

<p> (KZN.RU, September 17, Ekaterina Vislavskaya). For today, all objects of the social sphere and 98.7% of the housing stock are ready for the heating season in Kazan. This week, the heat can be launched ahead of schedule in social facilities, said Iskander Giniyatullin, the deputy chairman of the Executive Committee, during the Business Monday. The Mayor of Kazan urged the leaders to listen to the complaints of the citizens and to keep repairing subjobjects on special control. </p> <p> </p> <p> “Every year at this time we are going through such a complicated process as the launching of heat. Each time it requires the district heating companies, management companies, heads of districts, their teams to maximize mobilization, concentration and coordination of joint actions. In general, there is nothing new in this work for us. Nevertheless it is always a responsible and tense moment for all the leaders”, said the Mayor. </p> <p> </p> <p> The date of the beginning of the heating season in Kazan will be determined by the decision of the head of the City Executive Committee later. According to the specifications for a centralized heating system, it is recommended to apply heat after the average daily outside air temperature reaches +8 degrees and will stay at this level for 5 days. "We have not reached this parameter yet, but, given the gradual decrease in temperature, this week it is possible for the social sector institutions to start delivering heat ahead of schedule”, warned Iskander Giniyatullin. “Technical availability of the coolant supply is available everywhere, the readiness of the institutions themselves is also ensured. So I address the leaders of the social bloc: bring the heads of institutions the information about the opportunity to begin the supply of heat on applications”. For today, all 765 social facilities are ready for the heating launch. </p> <p> </p> <p> “First of all, the heat will be launched in social facilities: kindergartens, schools, polyclinics, maternity homes, and others. Under the same scheme, we will work this year too”, said Ilsur Metshin. “Fortunately, many facilities have been repaired. Every year we pay great attention to this”. </p> <p> </p> <p> As for the houses, 5654 of them are ready for winter, which is 98.7% of the city's housing stock. After-repair activities are being carried out in the remaining 53 houses. </p> <p> </p> <p> By the beginning of the new heating season, more than 11500 km of indoor networks were inspected, flushed, crimped and repaired. All 6 of the city's largest heat supply sources are ready for use: CHPP-1, 2, 3, Savvinovo district boiler plants, “Gorki”, “Azino”, as well as 135 boilers of the AO “Kazenergo” and 45 departmental boilers. The heating network organizations have prepared almost 2 thousand km of main and intra-quarter heat networks. Over 50 km of pipelines were replaced and reconstructed. The “Kazan Teplovye Seti” carried out an overhaul of 10 buildings and structures, 11 pumping stations, restored more than 50 running kilometers of thermal insulation of pipelines, and carried out a final crimping of heat networks. </p> <p> </p> <p> In addition, the AO “Kazenergo” carried out a comprehensive modernization and reconstruction of 3 district boiler houses. A block-modular boiler-house was installed instead of the building along Portovaya Street. №17, where a collapse occurred on March 17. As a result of unscheduled inspections, repairs of 14 boiler houses were carried out. </p> <p> </p> <p> In addition, the administration of the Sovetsky district and the Committee for Housing and Communal Services organized the transfer of an abandoned emergency heating main fr om the boiler house “Kulonenergomash” to a house in A. Kutuy, №86a. Installation of pipes is completed. In addition, 4 high-rise buildings in Novo-Savinovsky district will be supplied with heat under a new scheme in the new heating season, directly from KTS networks. </p> <p> </p> <p> “This is our work, time-consuming and laborious. Despite the fact that a lot of attention is paid to the preparation for the heating season, there are weak spots wh ere resources are not enough to completely repair everything by 100%. Therefore, these sites need to be observed to ensure that the heat supply was stable and there were no incidents”, said the Mayor of Kazan. </p> <p> </p> <p> He added that it is important to hear the complaints of the Kazan citizens, who may appear during the heat-up process, and in response to explain to them in what terms the censures will be eliminated. </p> <p> </p> <p> “Next week weather forecasters promise us Indian summer. But it will also pass quickly. Therefore, we have to be fully prepared for the start of the heating season and do it together as a single team”, concluded Ilsur Metshin. </p>
