A group for children with disabilities opens in a renovated kindergarten in Yudino

<p> The first group in Yudino for 12 children with disabilities will open in the renovated kindergarten № 62. The renovated preschool has music and physical education halls, engineering and road safety classrooms, speech therapy and multifunctional classrooms. At the same time, the kindergarten will specialize in environmental education. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin got acquainted with the work of the preschool for 200 children. </p> <p> “We pay great attention to the construction and renovation of social facilities. Kazan keeps the pace in construction along with Moscow and St. Petersburg. Over the past 10 years, we have built 177 social facilities, including 90 kindergartens and 25 schools. In addition, we are renovating social facilities. Now we are visiting kindergarten in the village of Yudino for 200 children. The institution has been beautifully renovated, local residents love this neighborhood very much,”- the head of the city noted. </p> <p> After the renovation, the kindergarten “Turgai” built in 1970 has ten groups. “The very first and only group in the entire village of Yudino for children with disabilities will be opened in our kindergarten. We have organized a space where children, together with teachers and parents, can practice finger gymnastics. It is necessary to include classes for the development of fine motor skills,”- said Elena Sokolikova, acting head of the kindergarten. </p> <p> At the same time, the preschool will be focused on environmental education. Thematic spaces are equipped for children, for example, a training wall with footprints of animals living in Russia. There is also a laboratory where teachers and children conduct experiments. </p> <p> “There is a century-old pine forest near the kindergarten, which is conducive to environmental education. Kindergarten teachers have prepared a special program in this area, which is very important. If children grow up with this knowledge from childhood, then we will get a completely different environmentally friendly city,”- Ilsur Metshin noted. </p> <p> On the second floor of the preschool, Ilsur Metshin looked around children's locker rooms, where mobile hooks are used. So, depending on the season, they can be used as needed in different places. In order to save space, mobile towel rails were installed. </p> <p> The head of the city also visited the music hall, where, on the eve of the birthday of the poet Gabdulla Tukai, children learned a song in the Tatar language. Despite the fact that the groups are taught in Russian, there are classes of the Tatar language as well. </p>
