In May, renovation of seven new offices of the Doverie Center will begin in Kazan

Ten branches were renovated last year, Ilsur Metshin and Rinat Sadykov visited one of them today.

In May, renovation of premises for seven new branches of the Doverie Center will begin in Kazan. Residents of Yudino, Derbyshki and Salavat Kupere will have an opportunity to use the services of specialists nearby their homes. After the opening of branches, the total area of the center's premises will almost double. Today there are 10 branches in the city, which were repaired last year. Every year, 50 thousand teenagers and young people aged from 14 to 35 years get psychological assistance there. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and Tatarstan Minister of Youth Affairs Rinat Sadykov visited one of the offices today.

The department is located in the residential building at 8 Marta street. Previously, there was an infant kitchen, and a few years ago the premises were transferred to the Doverie center. Renovation began last winter, and in September the branch welcomed the first visitors. “We were here when the renovation was just beginning, the walls were gloomy. Just in six months, the repair was completed. Last year, ten branches were renovated, including this one, but seven more branches will open in different districts of Kazan,”- Ilsur Metshin said.

According to the director of the Doverie center Elena Ovchinnikova, the branch on 8 Marta Street is the largest, with an area of 457 sq.m. The branch will serve residents of the Sovetsky district, where 97 thousand young people aged 14 to 35 years live. But young people from other districts of Kazan, where there are no branches of Doverie, can also visit this office for psychological assistance.

The head of the center showed Ilsur Metshin the reception area with an administrator's desk and comfortable sofas. “The reception staff registers visitors who come for individual consultations. For reference, 243 meetings were held last month,”- E.Ovchinnikova noted.

Ilsur Metshin looked around the co-working area, where young people drink tea, play games, read books and communicate with each other. During the visit, a meeting of the “Breakfast with a psychologist” project was held there.

Alfina Fayzulloyeva met the Mayor in the office of individual therapy. According to her, from 5 to 7 people come to individual meetings every day. She expressed her gratitude for the comfortable conditions for visitors and specialists. I. Metshin got acquainted with a sensory room, which is designed for the development of feelings and emotions. It is equipped with a ball pit and an air bubble stand.

In the small hall, Elena Ovchinnikova reported about the plans of the center for 2023 to the Mayor. The Family Club project will be expanded to all branches of the center, now it is being implemented only in Tayanich. The project is intended for families with challenging child-parent relations, where there are no family traditions, which leads to negative manifestations among adolescents and young people. In addition, the center plans to extend the experience of the Let's Listen project to all districts of Kazan. In 2022, psychologists conducted 144 consultations in two parks of the city. Also, in the test mode, the work of psychologists will be organized in the yards.

For reference, 51,500 people used the services of psychologists of the Doverie center last year, specialists conducted 7,400 individual consultations. The helpline received almost 16,400 calls from residents of the city. 170 couples applied to the School of a young family, half of them salved their marriage.
