1500 parking lots were built during the overhaul of the yards in Kazan

It is planned to complete the improvement of the yards until the end of September.

(KZN.RU, July 7, Ksenia Shvetsova). 1500 parking lots were organized during the overhaul of the yard territories in Kazan. Igor Kulyazhev, the deputy head of the Committee for External Improvement, reported this today at the Business Monday. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, instructed to strengthen the quality control of work execution and update yard territories in a conjunction with the population.

74 yard territories out of 430 planned ones have already been updated, which is 33% of the total plan. Another 64 ones will be completed in the near future. According to I. Kulyazhev, the total area of yards planned for repair is 457 thousand square meters. It is planned to install children's play complexes, sports equipment, benches in 32 yards that are subject to complex improvement.

The parking lots were also equipped during the improvement of the yards. So, for today about 1500 ones out of 5000 were done.

The improvement of the yards is planned to be finished until the end of September. Even now, more than 30 thousand residents are experiencing the positive effect of the work done, noted the reporter.

The Mayor of Kazan thanked the contractors for their work. He also instructed to strengthen the control over the quality of work and to involve the discussion of the renovation concepts. He also thanked the President of the Republic for the implementation of programs for capital repairs of roads, yards, and social facilities. “Our main focus now is the repair of social facilities, housing, and yards. There is still a lot of work, it needs to be done qualitatively, on time and in dialogue with the population”, concluded I. Metshin.
