The lecture will be given by the culturologist Alexey Maslyaev.
(KZN.RU, July 10). On July 12, cultural critic Alexei Maslyaev will give a lecture “Russian art at the turn of the XX-XXI centuries. Russian contemporary art in search of oneself” in the National Art Gallery “Khazine”.
The lecture will focus on the young generation of Russian authors who appeared on the artistic stage in the late 2000s – early 2010s. Taus Makhachev, Evgeny Antufiev, Valery Chtak, Timofey Radya, Ivan Gorshkov, Ilya Fedotov-Fedorov, Arseniy Zhilyaev, and many others are among them.
The lecture will be given by Alexey Maslyaev, a curator of contemporary art exhibitions, cultural studies, the head of the sector for scientific and methodological work of the educational department of the Moscow Museum of Modern Art.
The beginning of the lecture is at 6 pm, reports the press service of the Gallery.
