A meeting with the delegation of the Palestinian governorate of Hebron was held at the Kazan city Hall

<p> Today, representatives of the Executive Committee of Kazan met a delegation of the Palestinian governorate of Hebron at the Kazan city Hall. The parties discussed the prospects of cooperation- the meeting was attended by representatives of investment companies and manufacturing enterprises of Palestine and the Arab cultural center in St. Petersburg. </p> <p> First deputy head of Kazan municipality Evgenia Lodvigova addressed the guests from Palestine with a welcoming speech. She noted that the capital of Tatarstan is a major educational center. Besides, the city has the status of the sports capital of the country, which has hosted major international events. </p> <p> Kazan actively cooperates on the international scene. “Our experience is interesting to other cities of the world, it is no coincidence that Kazan has become the headquarters of the Eurasian branch of the World organization United cities and local governments”, -said E.Lodvigova. </p> <p> Governor of Hebron governorate Jibrin Ilyas Abed al-Bakri thanked for the warm welcome, stressing that Kazan is an example of how the city should develop. </p> <p> Jibrin Ilyas Abed al-Bakri said that Hebron with a population of 750 thousand people ranks first among the governorates of Palestine in terms of population. Despite the political conflicts in the country, the province is actively developing the economy, trade, agriculture and tourism. </p> <p> Concluding the meeting, Evgenia Lodvigova thanked the delegation for the visit and expressed hope for cooperation. </p>
