The exhibition “Silk Road of the Soul” opens in the Kazan City Hall

(KZN.RU, May 30). On May 31, the personal exhibition “The Silk Road of the Soul” by artist Marat Gubaidullin opens in the Modern Art Gallery “Window” of the Kazan City Hall. The exposition will acquaint the viewer with the beauty of the Turkic civilization and the route of the Great Silk Road.

Marat Gubaidullin painted a series of sketches with views of the Great Bolgar, Bakhchisarai and Solkhat, Turkestan, Samarkand and Bukhara from nature in different weather conditions. He portrayed the Volga coast, looking at them from a yacht on the way from Kazan to Bolgar. Turkish landscapes are among the works exhibited, as well as views of the mountainous Crimea, Solkhat and Bakhchisarai. In addition, the exhibition presents creative works on the history of Tatarstan and shamail.

The exhibition will be available for visits until July 14, daily from 11 am to 7 pm, except for Mondays, reports the Modern Art Gallery “Window”.
