Construction of a kindergarten for 260 children has begun in the Yaratam residential complex in Kazan

<p> Construction of a kindergarten for 260 children has begun on Bukharskaya Street in the Sovetsky district of the city, students are expected to get in 14 groups of 14-20 people. This is the first time the design of the facades of the residential complex houses was considered when working out the design project of a pre-school institution. </p> <p> It is estimated that a total of three kindergartens for 600 pupils will be commissioned in the capital of Tatarstan by the new academic year. Two pre-school institutions for 260 and 80 children will be erected on Bukharskaya and Yagodinskaya streets, another one for 260 children – in the area of Prospekt Zarechye in the Salavat Kupere. </p> <p> “In the recent message by the President of the country, a proposal was made to invest in social infrastructure, kindergartens and schools to be built. Kazan will take part in it as well. Now we are next to the residential area of Azino, where housing was built first, and social infrastructure only afterwards. Two houses have been commissioned in this residential complex, the rest are being constructed, but the first social infrastructure facilities are already underway. Construction of a school is projected on a neighboring site,” head of the city noted. </p> <p> The plot area of the two-storey kindergarten under construction is over 9 thousand square meters, the build-up area is nearly 3 thousand square meters. There are 14 children’s playgrounds with shade shelters and two more sports grounds on the territory. Almost 3 thousand square meters of the territory will be landscaped, asphaltic concrete will be spread on 1.4 thousand square meters, and sidewalks on another 1.2 thousand square meters. </p> <p> Right next to the kindergarten under construction is also a Dalniy residential area; near here – on Rodina Street – a school for 1,224 children is planned to be built this year. </p> <p> “I have just driven along the Voznesensky Trakt opened within the first stage. A lot of cranes may already be seen next to the avenue, and all these are residential communities under construction. Our absolute requirement is the availability of social infrastructure,” head of the city stressed. </p> <p> The Yaratam residential complex will comprise seven houses, two of which have been commissioned with four underway. Playgrounds, underground and adjacent parking lots are already in place on the territory. </p> <p> The building owner is “GISU RT” (“Main Investment and Construction Administration of the Republic of Tatarstan”), project designer is “TIGP” (“TatInvestGrazhdanProekt”), contractor is “Standard-R” OOO. </p> <p> Azat Nigmatzyanov, First Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of the city for Urban Planning Policy, Roman Fatkhutdinov, Head of the administration of the Sovetsky District, Irek Rizvanov, Head of the Education Administration, and others also visited the construction site. </p> <p> To recap, Kazan holds the leading position among the cities with a million-plus population, except for Moscow and St. Petersburg, in terms of the number of educational institutions built. For over 10 years, 90 kindergartens and 25 schools have been built in the capital of Tatarstan. </p>
