<p> The work of the current year on the Our yard republican program is being completed in Kazan. Denis Kalinkin, first Deputy Head of the Kazan municipality, inspected the progress of improvement of one of the courtyards – between houses 171A and 171b on Avangardnaya street.  </p> <p> The residential buildings 171A and 171b on Avangardnaya street were built in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Currently, near 900 people live there. Improvement of the yard under the Our yard republican program started here three weeks ago. Now, the renovation is completed by 80%, it is planned to be completed within a week, said the Director General of the subcontractor company – AO Kazenergo Rustam Abdulkhakov. </p> <p> The sidewalks have already been repaired here, and preparations are underway for asphalt laying on the driveway. A children playground was installed, and specialists are starting to install benches and dustbins. Soon there will be a workout zone. Outdoor lighting networks are being installed. </p> <p> “During the improvement, it was planned to narrow one of the driveways. However, residents asked to leave the original width of 5 meters. We agreed and, in addition, expanded the passage on the other side to 5 meters. It allowed creating 93 new parking spaces here,”- R. Abdulkhakov said. </p> <p> “It is good that you were able to hear the residents and find a solution that satisfied everyone,”- Denis Kalinkin said. </p> <p> As reported Eduard Vafin, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for land improvement, to date, 207 out of 226 yards sites have been repaired under the Our yard program. </p> <p> “It is good that the weather allows us to carry out asphalt works. It is important that we have time to finish everything before the frost. Nineteen territories – not so much, – said Denis Kalinkin. – And we see quite different courtyards. Residents are happy, and the quality of life is changing." </p>
