In Kazan, the “My district” service has been launched to collect the requests of residents on the improvement of urban environment

A new project, in which each district will obtain its development plan, was presented to Ilsur Metshin.

In Kazan, the My District service has been launched, with the help of which residents of the capital of Tatarstan will be able to offer their ideas for improving the urban environment. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin got acquainted with the service. The head of the city appreciated the initiative.

"This is a great initiative. We need to implement it as quickly as possible, and most importantly – to explain to people how to use it. As soon as people receive feedback, see that their ideas are heard, this site will become not only a new informative platform, but also will serve as a real dialogue with residents”, - the Mayor said.

The authors of the project were active citizens and Marat Nuriev - deputy of Tatarstan State Council, Director General of the property management company Uyutny Dom. “Open Kazan is a service for collecting appeals related to certain problems, while the My District project is aimed at collecting proposals and city initiatives. It is being implemented in order to create common comfortable living conditions in the districts of Kazan and Tatarstan,”- he said.

To submit an initiative for consideration is possible by filling out an application on the website. The most popular ideas will be brought to life.

Presently, the project covers three districts of Kazan. However, as M.Nuriev noted, in the future the service will expand.
