The Citizen's School opens in Kazan

It is dedicated to the history and heritage of Kazan.

(KZN.RU, April 19). From April 25, the residence of creative industries “Shtab” in Kazan will hold the lectures “Citizen's School –- history and heritage of Kazan”. At lectures, Kazan citizens will learn about the historical heritage of the city, the specifics of its management and economy on the example of real practices.

The first lecture will explain how the modern historical city is developing in Russia and the world. The event starts at 7 pm.

The main directions of the lecture are history, heritage, culture, ecology, management, economy, household and housing and communal services. Olesya Baltusova, an assistant to the President of the RT, Airat Sitdikov, archeologist, director of the Institute of Archeology of the Academy of Sciences of the RT, Artem Silkin, the director of the museum-reserve “Ostrov-grad Sviyazhsk”, Farida Zabirova, an honored architect of the RT, Kazan architects and restorers will take part in the course.

Lectures will be held every Thursday until July 11, except for the May holidays, said the organizers. Participation is free. Visitors of the full course will receive a certificate of additional education. The registration is free.
