Rehabilitation courses of the project “Podderzhim Drug Druga” have started in Kazan

People with disabilities from several cities of Russia take part in them.

(KZN.RU, March 14). Two-week rehabilitation courses of the project “Podderzhim Drug Druga” (Rus. “Support each other”) have started in Kazan on the basis of the charity foundation “Yardem”. People with disabilities from St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk and Kazan take part in them and study computer literacy, self-service skills, attend museums, theaters, exhibitions, tours, and sports competitions.

Courses include physical, social, spiritual, psychological, and socio-cultural rehabilitation. Special attention is paid to physical rehabilitation. Special technical means are used to improve the health of the project participants.

This time, people with an active lifestyle have come to the courses. Some of the project participants, professionally involved in sports, are preparing to become members of the Russian national team in Paralympic sports.

The project “Podderzhim Drug Druga” has been implemented by the National Islamic Charitable Foundation “Yardem” since February 2016, reminds the press service of the foundation. It is aimed at the rehabilitation of persons with disabilities with a diagnosis of cerebral palsy, wheelchair users, and people with diseases of the musculoskeletal system.
