<p> (KZN.RU, January 14, Alina Berezhnaya). On January 19, the Epiphany Day, 5 fonts will be prepared in Kazan. Ilnur Shakirov, the head of the Department for the Development of Languages and Interaction with Public Organizations, announced this at the Business Monday today. </p> <p> </p> <p> Thus, it is possible to perform the Epiphany dip in the Novo-Savinovsky area in the font of the chapel near the church in honor of the Icon of Our Lady of Kazan “Life-Giving Spring” (5th Kadyshevskaya Street, №12). Two places will be organized in the Privolzhsky district on the Verkhny Kaban Lake on Borisovskaya Street, №54, and near the cafe “Sokol”. In the Kirovsky district, the font will be located on the Kazanka River near the Church of the Holy Face of Christ the Savior and on the Volga River near the Nikolskaya Church (Privolzhskaya Street, №32). </p> <p> </p> <p> The consecration of water will take place from 10 am to 12 pm. </p> <p> </p> <p> Festive worship services will be held in all the churches of the city on this day. </p> <p> </p> <p> “The necessary conditions for the celebration of Epiphany will be created in the places of the ceremony. City civil protection services, ambulance services, and the police will be involved for the safety of citizens”, said Ilnur Shakirov. </p> <p> </p> <p> Denis Kalinkin, the head of the Kazan Executive Committee, also reminded about the safety of Kazan citizens. He urged law enforcement officers and doctors to be extremely attentive. </p>
