The procession passed on the central streets of Kazan

Before the procession, Metropolitan Feofan held the Divine Liturgy in the Annunciation Cathedral.

(KZN.RU, July 21). Today, Orthodox Christians celebrate the feast of the Icon of the Our Lady of Kazan.

The holiday began with a solemn liturgy, which was held in the Annunciation Cathedral by the Metropolitan of Kazan and Tatarstan Feofan. After that, a procession was held in the capital of Tatarstan.

The procession began from the walls of the Kremlin and passed through the streets Baturin, Karl Marks, and Mislavsky to the Cross Exaltation Church. Representatives of the clergy stood at the head of the column of hundreds of believers, who marched with the miraculous image of the Icon of the Our Lady of Kazan.
