The main New Year Tree opened in Kazan

<p> Today, the main New Year Tree of the capital of Tatarstan opened at the family Center “Kazan”. Citizens and guests of the city were entertained by a vivid program with the participation of actors of the street theater “High brothers” and Tatar singers Leyna and Firdus Tyamayev. The mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin congratulated the citizens on the upcoming New Year. </p> <p> Colorful lights, popular songs that sounded from the stage performed by singers and vocal ensembles of the city, shopping points where Kyshdakar-fest participants presented their products - all this creates a New year's atmosphere on the site at the family center. </p> <p> A fairy ice town is located on the territory of the Family center “Kazan”. Kazan residents, who visited the festival, happily made photos on the background of sculptures of Father Frost, Snow Maiden, dragon, throne and crystals. Here, in the ice town, there are five speed slides and an ice maze. </p> <p> The main decoration of the site, no doubt, was a 35-meter New Year Tree, which was included in the top 3 highest trees in Russia. Green beauty is up-to-date, on top of the tree stretched a special grid of 93 thousand LED pixels, which allows to conduct a light show. The lights will shimmer with different colors, thus creating beautiful visual effects. Besides, the tree is decorated with 12 light guns of full rotation and 640 bright garlands. </p> <p> “This year we have a unique New Year Tree, it reacts to the music. It allows visitors to be charged with the New Year's mood and imbued with a sense of wonder” - said the head of the Department of culture of Kazan Azat Abzalov. The light show will be held daily until the end of the New Year holidays at 16.00, 18.00 and 20.00. </p> <p> The mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin visited the festive site and talked with the residents of the city. After that, he congratulated the guests from the stage “We are all waiting for New Year's holidays, New Year's wonder. I want to thank you for a beautiful and creative year of 2019. We've done a lot together. I wish everyone happiness, success and new achievements in the upcoming 2020”, - Ilsur Metshin addressed Kazan residents. </p> <p> The main tree of the city was lit with lights after the appearance of the main fairy-tale characters – Father Frost and Snow Maiden. The celebration ended with a colorful firework. </p>
