The new building of the rehabilitation center “April" will open in Kazan

<p> (KZN.RU, July 4). On July 5, a new building of the rehabilitation center for children and adolescents with disabilities of the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the RT "April" will open in Kazan at Zorge Street, №121. </p> <p> </p> <p> Annually, the rehabilitation center “April” serves about 500 children. As a result of the first half of the year, 252 children were provided with social rehabilitation services. Rehabilitation services were provided to 186 children from Kazan and 66 from the regions of the republic. </p> <p> </p> <p> Since 2017, a socially significant project “Smozhem Vmeste” is being implemented in Tatarstan at the initiative of the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the RT with the support of the deputies of the State Council of the RT. In 2017, it was sent to social shelters for children and adolescents. Considering that mainly minor children from disadvantaged families come to the shelters, the project's goal was to create conditions for the formation of children's domestic and labor skills, their vocational guidance, keeping a healthy lifestyle. </p> <p> </p> <p> In 2018, the second stage of the project “Smozhem Vmeste” was launched. It covers rehabilitation centers for children and adolescents with disabilities. </p> <p> </p> <p> The main goal of the project is to ensure the fullest possible social adaptation and integration of children with disabilities. </p> <p> </p> <p> The project is aimed at forming an integrated approach to the rehabilitation of disabled children in Tatarstan and creating conditions for the successful life. There are 3 main directions of the project (Rus. “My abilities are my opportunities”, “Social inclusion”, “A strong family is a happy childhood”), reports the agency “Tatmedia”. </p>
