(KZN.RU, May 30). On June 4, Muslims will celebrate the holiday of Eid al-Fitr. On this day, all the rural and urban mosques of the Republic of Tatarstan will read Gaete-Namaz, and children can attend the festive events. The main site of the festival in Kazan will be the Galeevskaya Mosque.
At 6.30 am, a sermon will start in the Galeevskaya Mosque with the participation of Kamil hazrat Samigullin, the mufti of Tatarstan. After that at 7 am, Muslims will make a festive namaz led by the mufti, and guests will be treated with pancakes.
Sermons and festive gait-namaz will be held in mosques of regional centers and rural settlements 30 minutes after sunrise or by the decision of the parishioners, reports the Muslim Religious Board of the RT.
Also on the day of Eid al-Fitr, the family holiday “Ramazan Fest” will be held in the Gorky Park in Kazan.
The Eid al-Fitr is a non-working holiday in Tatarstan.
