The recruitment of volunteers for the project “Public Garden” has started in Kazan

The team will begin the preparation and construction of the site at the end of April.

(KZN.RU, April 9). The Gorkinsko-Ometievsky Forest of Kazan announces the recruitment of volunteers to work in a unique urban project “Public Garden”. It will open in early May. Together with the citizens, the volunteers will plant, take care of plants all summer, and harvest in the fall.

The Public Garden team will begin preparation and construction of the site at the end of April. In addition to a fascinating experience, volunteers will get coffee and ice cream, discounts on rental of summer equipment, as well as special invitations to events in other parks. For the first time, the project “Public Garden” was implemented last year. It is planned to expand its area from 65 to 105 square meters in the upcoming season. In addition, lectures on gardening and various master classes, a swap-market, as well as tours on the eco-tracks of the Gorkinsko-Ometievsky forest are organized in the eco-center “Dom” and on the territory of the Public Garden.
