The improvement of the area near the forest “Dubrava” has been discussed in Kazan
The architects suggested using natural elements in the design.
(KZN.RU, January 23). A public discussion took place in Kazan on the concept of landscaping territory near the forest “Dubrava”, where the architects presented a preliminary plan for the development of the territory to the residents.
The authors of the concept plan to equip the area near the forest for year-round use. According to the project, pavilions with cafes, sports equipment rental, toilets, and a bus stop will appear there. Also, it is planned to equip a playing area, an amphitheater, a parking lot for forest visitors and to organize a safe pedestrian crossing from the residential area, reports the press service of the Directorate of Parks and Squares of the RT.
As for the territory design, the architects suggested using natural elements, for example, making pavilions in the form of leaves that fell from trees. Residents approved the idea. Also, citizens noted the need to reduce the number of parking lots and suggested using environmentally friendly materials as a cover, to revise the purpose of the pavilion for renting sports equipment, to install an art object symbolizing “Dubrava”, and shelves for book-crossing.
In addition, residents supported the idea of organizing separate garbage collection, and also took the initiative to preserve all healthy trees and plant new ones. Residents offered to place pavilions along the road to protect the future area from the cars noise.
