The winners of the competition “Doctor of the Year - Ak Chechekler” were awarded in Kazan

(KZN.RU, June 14). Today, the winners of the competition “Doctor of the Year - Ak Chechekler” were solemnly awarded in the KRK “Pyramid”. Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, Marat Sadykov, the minister of Healthcare of the RT, and others attended the event.

Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, addressed the ceremony participants with a welcoming speech. He congratulated the healthcare workers on their professional holiday and thanked them for their hard and noble work. “Human health is our greatest value. The issue of healthcare takes priority in the national projects that were previously identified by Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia. We can solve this task only by joint efforts”, he said.

Rustam Minnikhanov noted that today a lot of work is being done in the republic to strengthen the material and technical base of the healthcare industry, improve the skills of specialists, and provide medical institutions with the most modern equipment. “For 2 years, 185 polyclinics have been modernized in Tatarstan. The five-year program for the repair of hospitals is being prepared. A number of other projects are being implemented. But the most important thing is people, doctors, who are always ready to help”, marked the President of the RT.

Then, Rustam Minnikhanov announced the winner in the nomination “Doctor of the Year”. It was Enver Bogdanov, the head of the department of neurology and rehabilitation of KSMU, Ph. D. in Medical Sciences.

Also, the President of the RT awarded the keys to the new car to Zulfiya Shakirova, a special assistant at the Zangar-Kul FAP of the Rybnaya-Sloboda Central District Hospital.

In total, the winners were determined in five nominations this year. Ildus Nizamov, a professor of the department of public health, economics and health management of the KSMA of the Ministry of Healthcare of the RT, is recognized as the “Legend of Healthcare” The title “The Best Primary Doctor” was given to Rif Ibragimov, the general practitioner of Aktanysh Central District Hospital. Lyubov Guslyarova, the head of the Chuvash-Cheboksary FAP of the Novosheshminsky Central District Hospital, won in the nomination “Medica Worker of the Year”. And the victory in the nomination “Unique Case” went to a group of doctors from Kazan City Clinical Hospital №7. They managed to save a patient who was injured by the bite of a green mamba, one of the most venomous snakes in the world.

The Republican Prize “Doctor of the Year - Ak Chechekler” is aimed at increasing the prestige of the medical profession and stimulating the improvement of professional activities. In 2019, the competition is held for the 12th time, reports the press service of the President of the RT.
