This is the eighth branch of the museum, the exposition of which is presented not only in different cities of Russia, but all over the world.
(KZN.RU, August 2). A branch of the Kazan Soviet Lifestyle Museum opened in Yelabuga. The exhibition presents several topics that introduce the visitor to the life of a Soviet citizen: “Happy Childhood”, “Soviet School”, “The History of Everyday Life”, “Music and Cinema of Soviet Time”. A pioneer lineup was held in the courtyard of the museum in honor of the opening of the museum.
Many of the exhibits were kept in the museum of Yelabuga. Part of the collection was created thanks to the participation of residents who brought interesting Soviet items to the museum, and some items from the Soviet past came from Kazan. According to Rustem Valikhmetov, the director of the museum, a collection of vinyl records with autographs of the participants of the disco duo Ottawan, jeans signed by Sergey Chigrakov, the soloist of the group “Chizh & Co”, electric piano “Lel-22” with the signature of the outstanding pianist Boris Berezovsky and participants of the festival “Summer evenings in Yelabuga”.
The opening took place in the framework of cooperation with the Yelabuga Reserve-Museum. This is the eighth branch of the museum, the exposition of which is presented not only in different cities of Russia, but all over the world. For example, not so long ago the branch opened in Turkey. Branches also exist in St. Petersburg, Moscow, London, Paris, and other cities.
