In «Day of the spring equinox», Kazan citizens will be taught to play the «streams» game

Gorkinsko-Ometevsky forest park invites you to celebrate the coming of spring.

(KZN.RU, March 23). Kazan will celebrate the "Spring Equinox" on March 25. A holiday under this name is organized for Kazan’s townspeople in the Gorkinsko-Ometyevsky forest park.

The entertainment program will begin at noon. The visitors will be taught to dance roundelay, and play folk games, including those familiar to the older generation- the"streams." On the same day in the park cafe will be held a master-class on the “mezenskaya” painting.

The day of the spring equinox in 2018 was March 20. Officially, the spring in the northern hemisphere of our planet began exactly on this day at 19.15 Moscow time, when the Sun crossed the celestial equator.
