On the day of Eid al-Adha, public transport in Kazan will run from 3 am

Namaz in Kazan mosques will begin at 4 am

(KZN.RU, August 9). On August 11, the day of Eid al-Adha, a number of bus and trolleybus routes in Kazan will run from 3 am.

Buses №1, 2, 5, 6, 10, 10a, 15, 22, 23, 29, 30, 31, 35, 35a, 37, 47, 53, 54, 56, 63, 68, 71, 74, 75, 89, 91 and trolleybuses №1, 2, 12 will be taking citizens to the event sites in Kazan mosques with the approved traffic intervals on Sunday, reports the Transport Committee.

On August 11, Muslims will celebrate Eid al-Adha, one of the main holidays in Islam that means the end of the Hajj. Holiday namaz in Kazan mosques will begin at 4 am with a sermon. After the festive prayer, a rite of the sacrifice of sacrificial animals will be held at 16 sites. It will last for three days from August 11 to August 13.

Traditionally, on the eve of the holiday in Kazan, the campaign “Feed those in need” is held, where everyone can buy lamb from the foundation “Zakyat” and give the meat to the needy.

On the day of Eid al-Adha, a charity iftar for 200 people will be held in one of the mosques in Kazan, and a charity dinner will be held in the complex “Tugan Avylym”, in which 250 people will take part.
