On the National Unity Day, a gala concert of the festival “Our Home is Tatarstan” will be held in Kazan

<p> (KZN.RU, November 2). On November 4, a gala concert of the republican ethnocultural festival “Our Home is Tatarstan” will be held in Kazan in honor of the National Unity Day. </p> <p> </p> <p> The event will present the best achievements of the cultural, musical, and choreographic art of the peoples living in the RT. Representatives of both amateur and professional activities will perform. </p> <p> In addition, the most active participants in the ethnocultural movement of the RT will be given state awards, and the best creative teams will receive cash certificates for tailoring national costumes. </p> <p> </p> <p> The concert will begin at 10 am in the Tatar Theater of Opera and Ballet named after M. Jalil. </p> <p> </p> <p> The main goal of the republican ethnocultural festival “Our Home is Tatarstan” is to strengthen unity, good neighborliness and religious mutual enrichment of the peoples living in the territory of the republic. The festival takes place in three stages: municipal, zonal and final gala concert. There are five nominations for participants: vocal, choreography, artistic word, instrumental performance, and folklore. </p> <p> </p> <p> This year, 45 contestants from all municipal districts and urban districts of Tatarstan took part in the zonal stages. The total number of participants of the festival is more than 2 thousand people (175 groups and 138 performers). </p> <p> </p> <p> The event was organized by the Assembly of the Peoples of Tatarstan and the House of Friendship of the Peoples of Tatarstan with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the RT. </p>
